wintery walk

We got another snow storm and ended up with a good amount of snow, so Madilyn and I went out for a walk to enjoy it (we finally got Madilyn a hat and gloves, which she loves and has me put on her to wear around the house).Madilyn stopped at every group of mailboxes to knock snow off the ledge at the bottom.
This is what I saw for most of the walk as Madilyn enjoyed running away from me.
The plows made this mountain of snow that's taller than me, so I put Madilyn on it to see how she liked it. She didn't like it and seems to have a fear of heights.
We stayed out so long that Madilyn's cheeks and nose were very pink by the time we came in, but at least she came in willingly this time.

I am glad you are finally getting out of the house. :)

I really love your blog, and I hope you don't get discouraged that not a lot of people look at it. Because when I do, and look back throught the past nine months we have been here I see so much change not only in Madilyn but in you too.

Keep up the good work.

Love ya.

I love your site too. Good work. I think we'll get the internet in our home soon. (I know, we're such cave dwellers) For me, one of the primary reasons for getting it is so Anna is capable of doing something like this.
Secondly, do you guys ever watch Conan O'Brian? He does this gag where he takes photos of 2 celebrities and combines their worst features into one photo and says this is what their child would look like.
I think Madilyn is the exact opposite of this spoof. I'm not joking and I mean this as a compliment. (Jeannette, I know you think there's always a joke coming.) I see a ton of both of you in her. She is a perfect combination of the two of you.

Wow, those are some nice comments. She is a darling little girl and I think she looks so cute with her pink hat, pink gloves, and pink cheeks! I check your blog daily, even if it's just so I'm updated on how far along you are - but of course I always look at the pictures too. What a sweetheart she is!
