That's 5 lbs of hot chocolate mix dumped all over the couch! Madilyn poured it in her hair (so now I know how she'd look with slight highlights!) and Abby grabbed handfuls to sift through her fingers and onto the carpet.
I was able to scoop most of it back into the can, and then I sucked all the rest into the vacuum, providing a lifetime supply of cocoa to all the spiders I've ever sucked into there.That afternoon while I was working on dinner Madilyn found the only bottle of nail polish in our house and painted her arm and dripped polish on the computer desk. Either I'm the most negligent mother ever, or these girls are especially skilled at mischief. Or a combination of both.

Oh no, I'm so sorry :( I was hoping that they would be little angels today. I'd say the latter is true, you are a great mom! It's just the age, Teak does the same thing and I watch him like a hawk! It only take a few seconds. Its almost like they wait until you look away. At least your girls are creative, she's a born artist ;) I hope you have a happy birthday evening!
I can understand why you didn't want to make the trip down here today! Hope things were a bit calmer today. And you are an excellent mom. :)
Happy Birthday yesterday! We miss you guys! I'm glad to see my kids aren't the only ones that are good at getting into mischief. They are getting so big! We hope to see you sometime soon. If you don't make it here for Idaho we will just have to come and see you!

You are certainly NOT a negligent mom, but I'd say these girls do have some serious mischief skills! Like I say every time, they are so cute and Anna's right, they do have gorgeous hair! Hot chocolate and all ;)
I think that you are an excellent mom, so that's not the problem. It always seem that they get into trouble when you are busy for a few minutes taking care of yourself. At least it wasn't red kool-aid.
