monday on the boardwalk

We got to Ocean City on Saturday afternoon, after driving most of the previous night and all day. Sunday was spent looking for church and having Abby's party, so by Monday morning we were ready to hit the boardwalk.
Last year Madilyn wanted to play a crane game. I tried to discourage her that it's too hard, thinking we'd waste a lot of money and end up with nothing. Fortunately they have crane games on the boardwalk where you pay $2-4 and get as many tries as it takes to win something. And then Madilyn won a tiger on her first try and has never let me forget how great she is a crane games.
This year was no exception; she won her dolphin on the first try as well.
Abby needed a little help, but got the unicorn she wanted.
