easter dresses
Here are my girls, ready for church in their new Easter dresses. Unfortunately it was really cold so they had to bundle up with sweaters, but I still think they looked pretty.
Madilyn had a hay day with the Easter candy. Eric let her wander around after church eating whatever candy she wanted and we ended up with candy everywhere. She spilled the bag of jelly beans and then dumped a box of strawberry whoppers when she tried to fill up a candy dish. Oh well, she was about as content as ever. My only gripe is that I don't think it's the smartest idea to give kids chocolate and then have them wear light, pastel Easter colors. Madilyn ended up with a chocolate hand-wipe down the front of her dress.

What beautiful little girls! Those dresses are so pretty. How fun to have little girlies to get all lovely for Easter.
They look so cute!! Emma asked me the other day if she could play with "her friend that has brown hair and a mom that has kinda short yellow hair, but not really short and not really yellow, and a baby sister". It took me a while but finally figured out she meant Madilyn. She remembers her from our last Idaho trip and can't wait to see you again. She likes to look at your blog too.
Lisa, tell Emma she CAN play with Madilyn because you're going to come visit us!! Jared keeps saying he wants to, but I'm not sure how much you like the idea of driving for 24 hours with 3 kids. We'd love to have you if you think you're up to it!
We actually have talked about coming. The idea of being in the car that long is definitely not appealing but we have done a lot of driving lately and the kids have done amazingly well. I would LOVE to come!
